The goal of the Neighborhood Safety Committee is to work with the Richardson Police Department to prevent crime. Shortly after organizing Crowley Park Neighborhood Association the Neighborhood Safety Committee worked closely with Richardson Police to organize a Crime Watch patrol in Crowley Park. The Crime Watch Patrol is a dedicated group of Crowley Park Residents that volunteer their time to be the "eyes and ears" of Richardson Police.

This committee also worked with Richardson Police to have signage installed that indicates that Crowley Park is an "Active Crime Watch" area. (pictured right)
